Geothermal or Ground Water or Water Furnace

This is not new technology, it has been used for several decades during which time, it has been called many things; geo-thermal, geoexchange, ground water, ground water assist, ground water source, water to water, heat pumps and of course our equipment's brand name WaterFurnace. These terms are all used, to explain the technology of using a geothermal heat pump to draw energy from below the earth's surface, to operate a heating and cooling system for your home or business. The result is green or natural heat that saves energy and benefits the environment.

Geothermal WaterFurnace System Types

All-in-One Systems: Built to heat through the winter months and provide cooling all summer. They provide all year round comfort. The WaterFurnace geothermal heat pump systems can replace the traditional indoor or outdoor furnace and air conditioning units.
Hydronic Geothermal Systems: Are designed for heating and cooling water in applications like radiant floor heating, domestic hot water and for snow and ice melt. The modularized design and controls of WaterFurnace hydronic geothermal systems give optimum capacity design and staging.
Split Geothermal Systems: Provides flexible installation with the capacity to provide comfort to the entire home, or individual zones like the second story on a large home. Using a geothermal split system in conjunction with a fossil fuel furnace "turbochargers" the system for increased efficiency.

Geothermal Uses the Energy You Already Own

Using geothermal is having a fuel well in your own back yard. During the winter a heat pump takes the heat out of your ground and puts the heat in your building. In the summer that same heat pump takes the heat out of your building and puts it back in the ground. This is accomplished through pipes buried in the ground.
